Like many people, I went through the 'Worst Case Scenario' with my family's Manufactured Home purchase. Uninformed salespeople, missed deadlines, land surveying issues, muddy contracts, contractor labor disputes, you name it!
Throughout the 2 year process - which was supposed to be 2 months! - I learned more than I bargained for. Many friends, family, and co-workers have since told me I should write a book, or do something to help folks out. So that's what I intend to do!
Right now is the hottest market for Manufactured Homes in over 30 years. Better build quality, affordable housing prices, and high customizability have attracted many like minded buyers. Unfortunately, many Dealers are unequipped to handle this demand and as a result -- unprepared buyer's end up frustrated and ultimately suffer.
